Welcome to Gilly's Place

A few years ago my granddaughters asked me to put together a cookbook of about 20 family favorite recipes and when I did the 20 pages looked rather skimpy so I added more, and more, and more till their binders held 60. Heavily embellished I gave them to the girls at Christmastime. Every Christmas since then I've added 60 more pages to their collections and have reached the 300 mark...and they're looking forward to getting even more. These are not random recipes, they're all tried and true. Anyway, when word got around it seems everybody and their second cousin wanted a cookbook so I began selling them to cover the cost of materials and now I'm passing them on to others as digital freebies, who like me, enjoy family, friends, cooking, and sharing. Print the pages to a standard letter size and save them in any old binder that blends with your kitchen. Please do print them for yourself and gift-giving to family and friends but please do not claim as your own as it wouldn't be fair to the designers I buy from or the wonderful talent that is freely given by bloggers. I'd love to hear from you and if you leave a comment on a post I will reply on the same. Please don't leave anything on the 4shared page, I seldom think to check those.

Chili Tomato Mac Mix (in a jar)

Hi all, thanks for the comments girls! Yep, Donna, I joined PCCrafter back in '05 when I had a paper-crafting business under another name and PCC was the only graphic site I was aware of.  I have close to three hundred of their kits.  I toughed out the first two big changes then withdrew my membership when the last one started, who couldn't read the writing on the wall?  I was invited "across the street" when they first started and I went with them but that, too, folded.

I can't begin to tell you the stuff I made back then except to say that my two tables were always the busiest at craft fairs.  Wish, wish, wish I had kept all my files to share with you all but unfortunately when my PC crashed my files went with it.  I have some pics of the finished products but not the layers needed to put that product together.  Paint cans were my biggest seller as no one around here had ever seen anything like it.  I miss those days but man, they were crazy ones around this time of year.  I still have the templates, some of which can no longer be found.

Betty, don't do as I did with the first batch, hahaha, and they will be yummy!
I've got a new jar mix for 'ya today.  I made it once as a trial and only once cause hubby and his taste buds do not agree with the rest of us that chili's quite good.  Anyway, since a lot of us are doing gift baskets this year...

kit used

need labels?
Thanks for stopping in, catch 'ya later!
